Billing for health centers across Southern California.
We work in one region on purpose. Medi-Cal managed care is organized county by county on different models, so knowing your county's plans and rules is the difference between getting paid correctly and losing money quietly.
Where does MedBillPartner provide billing services?
MedBillPartner provides FQHC, community health center, and hospitalist billing across Southern California, including Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino, Ventura, and Imperial counties. Southern California is our market focus. That focus is why we know each county's Medi-Cal managed-care model and its plans, from the Two-Plan counties to the county-organized systems and the new Imperial Valley plan, instead of treating California as one market.
Medi-Cal isn't one program. It is county by county.
California runs Medi-Cal managed care on four different models, and the plans you bill change at the county line. A national billing company treats all of it as "California."
Four different models
Two-Plan, County Organized Health System, Geographic Managed Care, and single local plan. Your county runs one of them, and it changes how claims and wrap-around flow.
Different plans in each county
L.A. Care, CalOptima, IEHP, Gold Coast, Community Health Group, the new Community Health Plan of Imperial Valley. The plans serving your patients depend on where you are.
Local knowledge gets paid
Knowing which plan pays what, and how each one denies, is what turns a submitted claim into collected revenue.

Which counties do you serve?
We serve Southern California: Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino, Ventura, and Imperial counties. If your health center or group is in Southern California, we can bill for you.
Do you work outside of California?
Southern California is our market focus, by choice. Medi-Cal and its county managed-care plans are complicated enough that specializing in one region serves our clients better than spreading thin across many states.
Why does the county matter for billing?
Because Medi-Cal managed care is organized county by county, on different models. Some counties run a single county-organized plan, some run a Two-Plan model, some let members choose among competing plans, and one runs its own new local plan. The plans and the rules change at the county line.
Do you need to be local to bill for us?
You don't need us on site, but being a California company matters. We know the plans, the rules, and the local landscape, and we're in your time zone when something needs attention the same day.
Do you serve clinics with multiple sites across counties?
Yes. Many health centers operate sites in more than one county, which means billing several managed-care plans at once. We handle that mix and keep the reporting consolidated so leadership sees one clear picture.
