Yes. We built Medi-Net in-house in 1998 and we own and maintain it. That's unusual for a billing company of our size, and it is the reason we can show you the detail behind your numbers and adapt quickly when payer rules change.
How do we see our numbers?
Medi-Net gives a real-time picture of what's billed, paid, and still owed, and we share that with you along with clear monthly reporting. If you want to dig into a specific claim or number, we can walk through the detail with you at any time.
Do we have to change our EHR to use it?
No. Medi-Net sits on the billing side of your operation. You keep your clinical system, and we handle the billing and reporting on top of it, so switching billers doesn't mean ripping out your EHR.
Can we get reports for our board or funders?
Yes. We produce reporting formatted for leadership, boards, and finance committees, and we keep your encounter and payer data clean so it supports your UDS and grant reporting rather than complicating it.
Is our patient data secure in Medi-Net?
Yes. We follow HIPAA rules, submit claims securely, control access to your data, and sign a Business Associate Agreement. Security is handled the same way whether data sits in Medi-Net or moves to a payer.
Does it work for both clinics and hospitalist groups?
Yes. Medi-Net tracks per-visit PPS, wrap-around, and sliding-fee billing for health centers, and charge capture, census, and per-provider productivity for hospital medicine groups. The reporting adjusts to the kind of organization you are.
